L atelier
"L'atelier" - the original photograph in 1280 x 1755 px low resolution. 3:4 format [GMC] [MS0]
It took quite a long time of waiting for the right light situation to take this very particular photograph. It was meant as a tribute to Dutch Baroque master Johannes Vermeer, who mixed the most extraordinary colors, especially unseen blues and yellows, with just his scoops. Even more stunningly, he used light in his paintings. And he used it in a way that created a better depth of field than any professional full frame camera with a high-end lens on it would be able to achieve about 360 years later, using just his brushes and scoops.
This photograph was a humble try to at least adopt his style, using the best photographic equipment available. It still seems to be impossible.
