Victoria Falls
Color, 3 x 2 format
Some shot of the famous Victoria Falls, taken during the local "hot dry season" in late September 2023. While the daytime temperature rises to 34-42° C and the humidity drops to desert-like 20% (and no annoying tourists come to take selfies anymore), the Zambezi river dries up within just a few weeks and the famous roaring waterfalls morph into some kind of a 1.6 km long landscape of small waterfalls and runlets. The scenery at that time of the year is one of the most beautiful I have ever been able to photograph.
