Road to nowhere

A shot from a ruminant 75 km drive on the Rooihoogte Pass in South Africa, a high plateau on roughly 1230 m of altitude with just a few tiny farms, some flock of sheep and maybe some leopard trying to catch one. Strangely, the longer the drive got, the more I slowed down. Still not sure if it was the hope to see some human beings or the plain opposite that made me do so.
